驚きのミニチュアエンジン！！

TwitterやFacebookで話題になってたので、ご紹介。ちなみに私が知ったのは、ブログ「フィアット500とロックな日々」から。説明を転載すると

「スペインの職人でPateloさんという方がお孫さんのために作ったらしいっす。総排気量は12ccでシリンダー径は11.3mm、ストロークは10mm。もちろんすべてハンドメイド、削り出しです。これだけでも凄いのに、コレちゃんと動いてますよね。圧搾空気を送りこむことで動作してるらしいっす。これが凄過ぎます」。

ええ、ホントに凄すぎます。というか、エンジンって美しいですね。EV仲間で「モーターはいいんだけど美しくない。残念だ」とおっしゃる方の意味が何となく分かった気がしました。スティーブ・ジョブズじゃないけど、たとえ動力源であっても美しさって重要な要素。美しいモーターをデザインする時代が来るかも？
